Preparation of solution
Each day prepare a fresh solution containing 30 grams of Cleanse for each 5 litres of water. At any time after its preparation, the available chlorine in the solution can be checked by using the test papers from Chemform.
Sterilising bedpans, urinals and sputum pans Empty contents of the pan, rinse with water and immerse in the Cleanse solution for 1 minute. Isolation areas Wash the whole area thoroughly with Cleanse solution. Rinse all surfaces.
Toilet bowls Flush the toilet, sprinkle Cleanse onto the bowl, allow to stand 5 to 10 minutes. Using a long handled brush, scrub the entire area. Flush, dry with a clean cloth.
Baths and shower recesses Wet surfaces, sprinkle onto wet surfaces then brush thoroughly with a stiff brush. Rinse with water and allow to dry.
